- HDPE: High Density Polythylene canisters are, as their name suggests, made of particularly dense polythene. They are usually approved for foodstuffs.
- PP: Canisters made of polypropylene are stiffer and harder than those made of polyethylene. However, they can withstand higher temperatures.
