Air flow monitor

  • Explosion protected airflow monitor (pressure switch) for monitoring technical ventilation.
  • Notification of a fault in the air extraction system (not in the event of a power cut!).
  • In a hazardous materials store with at least 2 air exchanges per hour, the effectiveness of the ventilation must be monitored (HSG71 Appendix 5 Para. 2 (6)).
  • Differential pressure switch for volume flow control via measurement of differential pressure.
  • Suitable for gas, mist, vapour and dusts in zones 1, 2, 21, 22 (non-aggressive media).
  • Notice: when sited indoors, the customer must ensure the air extraction is channelled to a safe location outside. After installation of the extraction ducting the pressure conditions will change and the extraction volume flow will need to be set again by the customer. Our Service team would be happy to prepare a quotation for this readjustment operation.
