SteelSafe hazardous material depots are available in a range of different set ups, with storage capacities for small containers, up to 8 drums or up to 2 IBCs. The robust steel depots are suitable for the storage of substances of all water hazard classes and for the passive storage of flammable liquids. They can be installed indoors and outdoors as well as in hazardous areas, provided there is adequate ventilation and earthing. The SteelSafe hazardous material depots are accessible from underneath, lockable, powder-coated and are versatile thanks to the various equipment options such as lids, hinged doors or sliding gates.

This is how a SteelSafe hazardous materials depot is created
Safety and quality are top priorities for DENIOS and our customers. The robust SteelSafe hazardous material storage units are developed by our DENIOS engineers and then manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities. The welding work is carried out by qualified, skilled workers to ensure the highest levels of build quality. In addition, the weld seams of each steel depot are tested for leaks before delivery. SteelSafe hazardous material depots from DENIOS comply with the requirements of the StawaR.

Calculation procedure
We use theoretical calculation methods such as load simulation to check whether all components, as well as the overall product, meet the necessary safety criteria such as load capacity and stability.
Practical tests
We simulate the load-bearing capacity due to external influences, such as stability and tightness (filling tests) or also load-bearing tests with steel weights.
TÜV inspection
The steel depots comply with the latest requirements of the StawaR and undergo both leak tests and load tests, as well as quality inspections by external testing organisations for certification.
Production
DENIOS hazardous material storage tanks are manufactured under high quality standards in our own production facilities. We are a certified specialist company in accordance with the Water Resources Act and meet the qualification for the manufacture of steel sumps in accordance with DIN EN 1090-2.
Quality approval
Every product that is developed and manufactured at DENIOS is subjected to strict in-house quality testing. All components and their interaction in the finished product are tested. Each steel depot is always subjected to a red-white test.
